Peter Doherty presenta oggi il video tratto dal primo singolo ‘I Don’t Love Anyone (But You’re Not Just Anyone)’, tratto dal suo nuovo album, ‘Hamburg Demonstrations’ che sarà pubblicato per  BMG/Clouds Hill venerdì 2 dicembre.

Peter sarà in tour in Francia a novembre, con due concerti parigini al Bataclan che sono sold out.

 ‘Hamburg Demonstrations’ è stato prodotto e mixato da Johann Scheerer (Faust/Bosnian Rainbows/Gallon Drunk/Omar Rodriguéz-Lopéz) negli studi Clouds Hill Recordings ad Amburgo (Germania) usando un classico registratore magnetico ad 8 tracce (Studer A820) e poi mixato con un Telefunken master machine.  Peter ha sempre sognato di registrare ad Amburgo. Dopo aver sentito parlare degli studi Clouds Hill Recordings si è presentato alla loro porta il giorno dopo. Si è innamorato dello studio rimanendo in Germania per sei mesi.

Il nuovo album sarà disponibile in CD/ LP e download.

 ‘Hamburg Demonstrations’ include una nuova registrazione di Flags Of The Old Regime’ (ora chiamata ‘Flags From The Old Regime’) dedicata ad Amy Winehouse.

 Il nuovo album include anche ’Hell To Pay At The Gates Of Heaven’ scritta dopo gli attentati terroristici di Parigi. – canzone che lamenta il fatto che I giovani imbraccino armi al posto delle chitarre

“Come on boys choose your weapon J-45 or AK-47?” (Gibson J-45 la chitarra acustica preferita diJohn Lennon’s) ’Kolly Kibber’ ispirata ad un anti-eroe del film  ‘Brighton Rock’ e ‘A Spy In The House Of Love’ ispirata ad un racconto di  Anaïs Nin.
