Il 2 dicembre i Rolling Stones pubblicheranno il primo album di studio dopo più di dieci anni, Blue & Lonesome.
Registrato in soli 3 giorni a Londra, l’album riporta la band alle sue origini e alla passione per la musica blues, musica che è sempre stata il cuore e l’anima dei Rolling Stones: è stato prodotto da Don Was e The Glimmer Twins, ed è disponibile per il pre-order in tutto il mondo su rollingstones.com.
Il loro approccio al disco è stato quello di volere un album spontaneo che suonasse come un live in studio, senza sovraincisioni.
La band Mick Jagger (vocals & harp), Keith Richards (guitar), Charlie Watts (drums), and Ronnie Wood (guitar) ha raccolto accanto a se musicisti che hanno suonato per molto tempo in tour con loro come Darryl Jones (bass), Chuck Leavell (keyboards) and Matt Clifford (keyboards) e in due delle 12 tracce il vecchio amico Eric Clapton, che era nello studio accanto a registrare il suo album.
